Assembly Instructions

Slide (cable gland) endbell and shielding element (3,2) over the cable jacket.     
     
Strip the jacket back 30 mm (1.2 inches).    
     
Bend the shielding braid back at a right angle and cut it as shown  to 30 mm diameter.     
     
Remove any additional foil, cotton, etc. to expose the cable wires.     
     
Strip the wire ends 3.5 mm and twist the strands for pre-soldering if you use solder cup    
connector inserts.     
     
Solder, screw or crimp the wires to the contacts of the connector insert.     
      Assy.
Fold plastic cover over the wires and the connector insert (5).     Instr.
     
Push the insert (5) with the cover (4) and the shielding elements (3,2) into the enclosure    
cylinder (6).     
     
The braid wires will be contacted by being squeezed to the connector shell between the cover and
the shielding bell. The desired coding channel of the insert must be aligned to the coding rib of the 
enclosure cylinder.     
     
Screw the endbell tight to the stop.     
     
Screw in the additional cable gland (if used).
