Assembly Instructions

●  SC-long / SI-long Connectors   ●

Slide (cable gland), endbell, and shielding material (3,2) over the cable jacket.

Strip the jacket back 34 mm (1.3 inches).

Remove all additional insulation material, foil, cotton etc. to expose the cable wires.

Bend the shielding braid back at a right angle and cut to a diameter of approx. 25 mm.

Cut the wires to the desired length and leave the PE wire 1-2 mm longer.

Strip wire ends 4-6 mm (depends on contacts, see pages with crimp contacts)

Crimp the cable wires to the contacts.

For easier assembly, especially in the case of stiff wires, guide all contacts into the desired channels first

and then click each contact into its place.

Fold the plastic cover over the wires (5).

Push the sealing element (3,2) into the shielding ring tight fitting to the plastic cover (5) to have the braid

pressed between the two components.

Push the composed unit of  6, 5, 4, 3, 2 into the enclosure cylinder (7).

Screw the endbell tight to the stop.

Screw the additional cable gland (if used) tight to stop.
