Lead Dress The placement or routing of wiring and component leads in an
  electrical circuit. 
   
Leakage The undesirable passage of current over the surface of or
  through an insulator.
   
LED An acronym for light emitting diode which emits light when current
  passes through it in proper direction.
   
Level A measure of the difference between a quantity or value and an
  established reference. 
   
LF Low Frequency.
   
Load A device that consumes power from a source and uses that
  power to perform a funcion.
   
Loop Resistance The total resistance of two conductors measured round trip from 
  one end. 
   
Loss The portion of energy applied to a system that is dissipated and 
  performs no useful work.
